Pat is our TeaPot hostess and we are sending our condolences to Liz aka Lizbeth1976 who recently lost her Mother. To create a comforting quilt for Liz, I made patterned paper using various small stamps and two colors of ink. I also used a small bit of dsp for three of the squares. I gold embossed a small leaf image on those three squares. The quilt squares were punched with a 1 1/4" punch. These squares were glued onto thin paper. I matted with green cardstock then embossed with a Cuddlebug folder. A metallic gold ribbon was adhered around the quilt piece. The sentiment was gold embossed on an oval die cut and mounted on a scalloped oval which I had embellished with the Stitched Greenery Die.
Thank you, Pat, for hosting. Liz, I hope our cards will bring comfort to your heart.

This is indeed a comforting paper quilt! I love the gold sentiment, and the peaceful colors you used. Beautiful card!

Stunning! I love the dp you created with your stamping and adding those bits of gold embossing on the second paper looks fabulous. Ties the whole design together so beautifully with the gold embossed sentiment. You excel at creating beautiful quilt cards and this is another fabulous one. Awesome card, Rita.

So much thought went into this lovely card. I love your little stamped 'quilt' squares, and the idea to emboss the whole panel is genius. The sentiment is also beautifully done and framed. Amazing card!
